Â鶹Դ´ Vaccination Clinics to Receive Pfizer-BioNTech Pediatric Vaccine Doses for Ages 5-plus Starting Wednesday, November 10
Sacramento, CA – Â鶹Դ´ (Â鶹Դ´) announced today that all upcoming Â鶹Դ´ hosted COVID-19 vaccination clinics will now serve all community members ages 5 and up. Ages 5 to 11 are now eligible to receive Pfizer-BioNTech pediatric vaccine through the emergency use authorization from the United States Food and Drug Administration and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

SACRAMENTO, CA – On Saturday, Sept. 18, the Â鶹Դ´ (Â鶹Դ´) will debut its Central Kitchen Food Truck at the Farm-to-Fork Festival on Capitol Mall in Sacramento. Proceeds from the Central Kitchen Food Truck sales at the festival will benefit students throughout the district and offer a sneak peak at future lunch menu items provided by the Â鶹Դ´ Nutrition Services Department.
Sacramento City Unified Keeps Students on Campus Through Testing Program
Demonstrates extensive testing capabilities and response a key component in maintaining in-person learning through cases at New Joseph Bonnheim
Sacramento, CA – Â鶹Դ´ today announced the status of its response to 24 cases at New Joseph Bonnheim Charter School since its reopening on Aug. 9. While Sacramento County Public Health (SCPH) initially recommended a school closure, SCPH reversed its initial recommendation after further evaluation and consultation of the district’s capability to quickly respond with testing and staffing to provide tests to all students and staff.

District will deploy rapid response team to provide hundreds of tests in one day at school site
Sacramento, CA – The Â鶹Դ´ oversees New Joseph Bonnheim, a dependent charter school that began in-person instruction on August 9, 2021, and is located in an area with high COVID transmission rates. The order to provide COVID tests for students came in a letter from Sacramento County Public Health (SCPH) today after 23 cases were discovered on the campus. According to SCPH, it appears more likely that transmission is occurring outside of the school campus.
