2024-25 Mental Health Crisis Response & Recovery Procedures

Dear Site and Department leaders- 

This bulletin is to share out the 2024-25 麻豆原创 Mental Health Crisis Response Procedures. 麻豆原创鈥檚 Mental Health Crisis Response (MHCR) Team is a vital component of the school and district safety protocols. In the event of a crisis, the Mental Health Crisis Response team consists of primarily the site-based support staff (school counselor, psychologist, social worker, etc). If it is assessed that additional Crisis Response team members are needed, crisis response staff will be dispatched.

Free TB screening clinics every Thursday from 3-5pm at Serna Center

To our site leaders,

Sac City Unified will now be offering free tuberculosis (TB) assessments for staff, new hires and volunteers every Thursday from 3-5pm (unless offices are closed due to a holiday or holiday break). 

Walk-ins are welcome, and no appointment is required. The free screening clinics are held at Serna Center at 5735 47th Ave. Contact Student Support and Health Services at (916) 643-9412 with any questions.

The Connect Center鈥檚 LGBTQ+ Support Services staff are offering consultation appointments for 麻豆原创 staff and interns to ask questions and/or share ways in which we can better support LGBTQ+ youth in our district. You can schedule an appointment by completing the .

CAC Meetings

To our site leaders,

Our Community Advisory Committee (CAC) for special education meets every third Tuesday of each month from 6-8pm at Serna Center. There is also an option to Zoom in, but for in-person attendees, child care and refreshments are provided. 

Please help spread the word about these meetings in your communications to families and staff.
