Career Technical Education (CTE) programs in the Sacramento City Unified School District are served by a District-Level CTE Advisory Board and Individual CTE Program Advisory Committees. These committees are made up of parents, students, teachers, representative of business and industry, labor organizations, representatives of special populations, and other interested individuals. Committee members are involved in the development, implementation, and evaluation of secondary CTE programs throughout the district.

School libraries are at the core of learning in today’s information age, and are one of a child’s first opportunities to discover the wondrous joys of reading and exploration. Here at Â鶹ԭ´´ we understand the importance of sending our students on to college and careers with the skills that will allow them to be successful, accomplished and create a positive impact within their communities. We strive to empower our learners through the explicit teaching of 21st century literacy skills and to create a spark of joy around lifelong learning and foster lifelong reading.

The Common Core State Standards provide a consistent, clear understanding of what students are expected to learn, so teachers and parents know what they need to do to help them.
